On April 23rd, the inaugural ceremony of the Beijing Humanoid Robot Industry Alliance and the 2024 Humanoid Robot Industry Application Ecology Conference were grandly held in Beijing. Leaders and experts from government agencies, universities and research institutes, humanoid robot manufacturers, application-oriented enterprises, and core component companies gathered together to discuss the development of the humanoid robot industry.
The founding members of the Beijing Humanoid Robot Industry Alliance include JCME jointly with 78 prominent companies, universities, and research institutions across the upstream and downstream sectors of the humanoid robot industry. These members consist of 23 application-oriented enterprises, 14 humanoid robot manufacturers, 23 core component companies, 14 universities and research institutes, and 4 platform companies. The alliance aims to focus on global humanoid robot technology and industry research, promote typical scenario applications and technology transfer, facilitate resource sharing and industry collaboration among members, and actively foster a healthy industrial ecosystem for humanoid robots. The alliance will play a key role in six main areas: technical exchanges and scenario implementation, policy advocacy and advisory services, industry research and information dissemination, standard formulation and development regulation, establishment of think tanks and consultation guidance, and extensive cooperation to construct an industrial chain database.
